I had one myself, I really regret getting rid of it, basic motoring but good fun. Lot better than the Lada you got more looks as they where not as common.

That's sweet. Never knew they did a two door? In the video description, they're talking about a '4 door to 2 door conversion'. Maybe that's explaining it. And yes, i like that Lada... good thing they swapped the badge  |

LOL mine didn't have the R32 lump in it but I did dump the polski engine out of it and fit a Fiat mirafiori 1600 twin cam engine in it, was a bit of a sleeper.
The Polski 125p had a steering box, so it was kinda of scary to drive other than in a straight line, upset a few boyracers with her though.

Its build thread says a B5 Passat V5 bell housing adaptor to a Volvo 740 2.4 diesel gearbox; the 2.4 diesel is a Volkswagen 6-cylinder of the same type as the LT van, so that might be another possible source of gearboxes. And poses interesting questions about putting a modern Volkswagen engine in a Porsche 924... Ooooh yeah, and the 125p in the OP is very lovely in a number of ways. Great engine, great wheels, great colour on a lovely shape. |

That is absolutely gorgeous. A lovely car, and the R32 lump a real surprise! I adore the noise they make.

Beautifully done, too far beyond nice to be subtle or lost amidst traffic & the powertrain upgrades show its more than just pretty.

Looks like an Audi Quattro box in the red one - centre diff locked up I'd say. You can see the front drive flanges just behind the bellhousing.
