Hi all, Due to many reasons, my project car (see link) Is going to be making a journey to it's final parking space in the sky. The car was in the process of being stripped to shell starting from the front, and anythin not essential on a track car was being removed unsympathetically. retrorides.proboards.com/thread/148276/1978-long-haul-unknown-destination#page=1However, I have most of the bits, so it anyone is interest in anything from the car before it goes let me know, pick up only from Otley, LS21. The noteworthy things I can remeber from a year ago are a very good condition driver door, and a very good condition NSF wing. It anyone is after any parts then just let me know, as will most likely be getting rid of the shell and loads all the old parts into it, prior to it's destruction. I can let you know prices for specific parts or make me some offers. The only things I need to keep are things which make it roll. Duncan

Me too, can I get condition and price for the following please-
Headrest (only need one but could take both at the right price), Rear light outer plastic covers, Ash tray, Pair rear 'C Post' badges, and possibly the door cards complete with inner door furniture. Edit- and the overdrive solenoid if it is easy enough for you to remove and was working prior?
Thanks!

Hi all, thanks for your posts - I haven't looked at the car in 9 months, so will check these parts over tomorrow when I'm at home.
I'm not sure of the working nature of any of the mechanical parts to ber honest, as the car was not running when I bought it - I was told it ran fine, but carbs etc had been swapped with another car and not been put back on, and I never bothered as the plan became to do an engine swap so didn't was to waste timne and money getting this engine up and running.
Shame for it to be scrapped, and I would happily sell as a whole unit, but the body needs a fair few patches, must controls, cables and lines have been cut etc, so not sure it'd be of any use?!
Mike - I'm in Otley, I have 1 spare rostyle off the car (will check tyre and condition tomorrow), but if you have any old wheel so that the car can still be rolled, I'm happy to part ex. I seem to remember the wheels were in pretty good condition with good tyes, but I haven't got any other to put onto it
Will try and check these part and get some photos tomorrow, but I'm hugely pushed for time, and have to sort loads of stuff to get our house up for sale.

I bought a pair of used fibreglass front wings, but they are from a early convertible, so I don't think they fit perfectly - i was going to modify them anyway. They are in reasonably good conditions £10 collected for the pair if you are interested! The shell is OK, needs a few patches to inner wings, floors and some sill work from memory - will check tomorrow also.

If you'd like to drop me a mail, there's many things I now need off it that I didn't when I sold it.
What have you got left? I would even consider buying the whole lot back...

Hello, I'm in need of a Passenger side door, in decent condition. Can you help? Doesn't need to be perfect, but in good useable condition.
Thanks
Tim

Hi all, apologies for delay - sorting the house for valuation this week (to go on sale next week) and everything took longer than it should have....
Currently in talks with Pete, about selling the whole car - but will update when anything is confirmed.
I should have some time Saturdya morning so will investigate the equired for parts if Pete doesn't take the whole car. Thanks / Apologies.
