Sorry for modern content. But the dials I have been most impressed with were infact these Lexus IS200 jobbies, probably because they look like a watch lol.

I've always like the Delta Integrale dash with its rotated rev counter and speedo.

great thread idea! A few of my faves... early (2nd gen?) 'vette, cos it looks like a Wurlitzer jukebox Old Bristol clocks cos they're art deco madness T-bird pod gauges because no accountant will ever sanction such lunacy again Chrysler Royal for time-gone-by elegance probably the least calming, hardest to read clocks ever, especially at the fast side of 200mph. Pagani Zonda ...and of course my favourites; the ones I look at most often (although anything with a boost gauge is a close second)

Can we have ones made yourself Modified Standard 8 speedo: Removed speedo and fuel gauge mechanics Replace fuel gauge with a GPS speedo display Use the now redundant numbers as the rev gauge using LEDs and electronics Cut a big hole in the middle and glue in a boost gauge

Top thread idea, and inspirational too. I shall bookmark for when I come to remake the dashboard of the Scimitar.

The Oxford gauges are quite nice as the gold centres co-ordinate nicely with the gold mesh on the dash. Lotus XI Having just browsed quickly through all my photos from this year I think I should make a resolution to take more of gauges next year...
