This company : equus-automotive.com/ has taken a dip into the muscle car archives and is build a modern muscle car with some very classic styling. Clearly a very heavy nod to the Mustang fastback (both in name and looks), it isn't a replica or a recreation though as it has styling cues from other muscle cars of similar vintage. 6.2litre supercharged Chevy V8 provides 640bhp apparently and a 0-60 in 3.4-ish seconds. Also 200mph as a top speed is claimed, but I don't see how that works out with the aerodynamics, maybe it is achievable but I'd suggest it wasn't particularly stable at that speed. Anyway, pictures > 1,000 words etc. (if these work) Yours for a mere $250,000 Some more info here : www.motorauthority.com/news/1087175_equus-bass-770-muscle-car-chimera

If I had that much to spend on a car, I definitely would.

Really like that, the one thing I would do differently is the middle portion of the grill, it would look much better removed and the mesh going all the way across the front

What I like about this (as opposed to my usual dislike of replicas and things) is that it isn't a point for point remake of an old design, it is clearly VERY inspired by, but is also suitably updated styling wise.
I'd agree on the grill though, going all the way across would be better... I wonder if it is an option, these are very low production number cars so I'm guessing every spec will be pretty unique when they start selling.

Grill reminds me quite a bit of the early dodge coronet, I like the thing as a whole though. Classic styling done right.

Okay I'm sold. I'd like to collect it from their Manhattan dealership and drive it as quickly as possible to my San Francisco penthouse. I love the grille, they have to do something different. I tend not to sexualise objects but that's as close to 'car porn' as it gets for me.

Looks very nicely put together as well judging from the pics on the website. The chrome glass surrounds make it for me. The name is a bit silly though, it would always bring this to mind

Interesting car. I like that it is a bespoke design using modern technology, but I'm not entirely sure on its styling. It looks to me as a bodykitted Ford Mustang where it is clearly more cleverly designed and build than a restomodded 'Stang. If it looked like this: I would be all over it. Price is also a bit steep.

The name is a bit silly though, it would always bring this to mind Look at the lettering on the back though, it couldn't be any closer to reading BOSS if they tried. I'm not sure what I think about it. It's so close to being a Mustang; look at that side profile, it's the absolute spitting image. But the front end doesn't sit right for me; like ettorebugatti said, it looks a bit like a Mustang kit. The front end is really modern Challenger and it kind of looks a bit stuck together. But then I think the profile and pretty much all of it except the front looks better than the current Mustang, so... erm, I guess you're getting something that looks nearly as good as a Mustang with awesome modern performance. And this is just a personal thing but I HATE Eleanor-alike bumper cut-out and front spot lights on Mustangs, this, anything. It's like a massive pair of buck teeth. So yeah, if I had 250 grand I probably wouldn't, but I dunno if you could make an original Mustang this awesome for that much money so I might.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.
