A while ago I posted in the whats it worth section... retrorides.proboards.com/thread/148811/austin-1300gt-roughWell this weekend, all my uncles came round to tidy the farm, it used to be a breakers yard, so there is stuff everywhere. I just thought I'd get some pictures as they'd probably interest you all. yes some things will be for sale, but not quite yet, as we will be sorting it out at a later date. so pm me if your interested, as I'll probably put something on here, any things being sold, the money is going to my gran who recently had a stroke, so don't be tight. Any way... The 1300gt, which is for sale, want somewhere around 300 for this, the engine is worth that. A mercedes 206D, went off the road in 96 for rear shoes and brake cables, but never returned, now off to scrap... old landrover that's been sat there as long as I can remember. (I'm 18) A Rangey classic that hit a tree hard. A load of panels, lights and junk, this is what I mean by sorting out to sell. Cortina wing? Some old bike forgotten. A hay rake "consumed" by brambles A "stanced" Ferguson (?). yeah, negative camber FTW Fordson? Some old Ferguson that is apparently rare, its a petrol. but it's very sad. An old school pump cabinet, the tanks are rotted, but the pumps work and the sign is there, could rebuild I spose. (for sale) An A reg mini countrymen. 63? will be for sale if we can get it up the lane without ripping it in half. An old tractor hidden under a load of junk, this is a fraction of the amount of scrap that was there. 4 skips in 2 days. A load of old spares. Possibly my favourite picture apart from the pumps. MORE old spares. A mark 1 transit lives there, its in quite good nick, there is also loads of spares too. There are still 3 sheds to clear. I hope you enjoyed my pictures.

Cool - I'd love to dig through that lot. For maximum moneyage, I'd stick that countryman on ebay and let the market decide. Minis are fetching crrrrazy money on there.

Don't be too hasty weighing it in, there's a lot of value in that stuff. The Jag IRS by the tractor 'covered in junk' is worth a bob or two as is that Mk1 Escort Van door hanging up. The Mini Traveller is worth good money as it's a smooth roof. Happy sorting!!

we are down in devon. The pumps work fine. (well they go up and down freely.) When i get pics of the tranny, i'll post em up. it is covered in storage surface rust, but has been in the dry for ages so not that bad actually. I'll start a for sale thread when we get that far.

I'm fairly sure the tractor under the junk pile is an Allis Chalmers B. The blue one with loader is a Fordson Major of some description and would almost certainly find a new home. The very sad Ferguson is indeed a 35.
Behind the Land Rover Series 3 109" (registered in '73 and untaxed since '82- an unusually short life on the road) looks to be a Series 1 tub & hoodsticks, which would be worth sticking on eBay instead of weighing in (as would any other bits of it that might be floating around!). The S3 looks pretty straight from the pic, it'll be rotten as a pear but might have some useful bits on it- hoodsticks and tailgate for starters.

If its anything like the last tax exempt landie I sold on ebay you'll get a load of enquires/ offers from 'collectors' interested in the chassis plate and V5 on their own, what odd things to collect......
