I've owned this car for several years, its gone from a daily driver to a class winning mod prod class hillclimb car. When purchased. In 2012 at Harewood hillclimb. The car runs in the 1400cc-2000cc mod prod class. I managed to win my class in the MSA Leaders Hillclimb c'ship in 2012 and finish 9= o/a. I have a youtube channel if you want to see the car in action... www.youtube.com/user/Dave106Rallye

New engine on the dyno. Now fitted. Still alot to do before its ready to fire up though, some welding and a minimalist wiring loom amongst other things.

not sure how far Dave is going, but the best TU builders are pushing over 230 bhp on full house 1600's and there are 1700 builds about...
couple that with sub 700kg weights, makes for interesting pocket rockets!

I got some welding done at the weekend including getting a harness bar fitted. Its away for a new wiring loom now. I'm hoping for 670-680kg's the dash is out, 1kg battery, f'glass doors and 5 litre fuel tank have been fitted since it was last on the scales. The old engine made 186bhp latterly with 16 bent valves, the new one makes over 200bhp. (which car has a better bhp per ton, the 106 or the Vantage?)

My manifold fits... just. Dash/wiring is out... A new minimalist loom/dash is being made just now.
