So some updates on my project. Afters several hours of swet tears, fears and swears beast is on its suspension. Started job with the fron axle, thinking that attach four bolts will be easy enough, but was not the case. Either the car has expand or axle shrank. Couldn't screew in the bolts. So left front for the moment and put my attention to the rear axle. That worked out more smoothly. Spring and schock absorber in place. View from underneath. So next was to proceed with front axle to put it there where it belongs. After bit of drilling and fetling here it comes. And final look.

You inspired me today so I started sanding... sort off... But this is as it should be Cesar, isn't it? That our petrol heads and oily hearts get inspiriation onto looking on other chaps' projects. And how we feel proud and recognised when someone put an comment in our tread. (at least I feel so. ). So hands on on your 164. Yesterday was helping out to my brother making the brake pipes in his 142. At the first glance was affraid from pipe flaring tool, but pritty soon get confidence in it and we did it quite well. Doesn't look like from the factory, but still good enough to lift the tumb up. This morning job before daily work: Redblock should be red isnt it?

In previous weekend I got new conrod bolts ordered from VP Autoparts. So I started to put them instead of old onces. Book says as it is B30 E it should be tighten to 90-105 Nm. So I did. Sort of. Since I sheared the tread off the first bolt. Then I tried the second one. success. On the third bolt the same story, repleace it with new. success. On fourth bolt the same story. So I put the new bolts aside and used the old ones to specified torque and with better luck I got job done. But how that can be and I am thinking am I done something wrong, or in book there are wrong figures? And then I attached the oil pump. Not much progress since I am busy with job travels and no time to sneek into garage.

Hi guys. Thanks for showing interest about my project. Not many updates since body shop guys had been busy with other projects and mine was left aside until this week. So filler, sanding, filler, primer etc will hopefully be done within few weeks from now. Thats what I hope for. Regarding engine: Its assembled. Waiting for correct water pump. I got B20 one in my shelves, but that doesnt fit. So ordered correct one. Will receive some shiny bits for the engine on coming week. Will put an update on those also.

Well, you've been bookmarked for quite a while...
It's the same as I wondered earlier on in my project. Always lengthy updates with many pictures etc. but no replies... I was told that many people just read and if they have nothing more to say then awesome or great etc. they just refrain from posting. But I myself do like a comment. Keeps the spirits up. So therefore this reply from me. Looks like you're doing a great job!

Nice, is that a sunroof is dee up there? What make is your sunroof?! Actually it is there from the factory. don't know for sure which supplier is to blame for. And thats will be my issue when completing the car, since I don't have any connection cables and handle except of sunroof itself.
