Just to complete my collection of old shitter projects on here a swift recap of a volvo 360 I bought with a mate of mine in my student days.
Originally bought for student trackdays (mate was studying automotive engineering) this stunner cost all of 180 euro's back in 2004. Had some work done to it since then, and is now awaiting us to get our fingers out and slap a B21ET turbo engine together for it.
Anyway: I'll let the pitchers do the talking. I reckon about 75% of all work done to this was done whilst drunk or getting there... which is why I love it (ah the memories).
As bought:
Slapped left over wheels on off my brothers old civic:
Used for it's last purpose in life:
More work done
Clearancing the front wheel wells (mighty important volvo 300 mod!)
Allows bigger wheels to fit:
Celica overfenders:
Patching up:
Roller paintjob done:
Drove it around Zolder:
Adding lightness where it doesnt need it (rear is light as fook, front has a big swedish boat anchor in it). Does drift better for it.
Rear windows are now lexan.
Working on a dream:
[Austin Powers Dutch accent on]Tait laik a taiger:[/goldmember]
Front end had been eaten by hungry rust worms (damn dutch-built
body work is falling apart around the solid engine).
Then the sills let it down on an MOT, so out with the old, in with the mad:
Started work on the new engine:
