One I've heard, which sounds plausible, is that a car dealer owned it. Basically, every time he got a car in stock that was 'interesting' he'd hide it in the barn as part of a grand retirement plan.
Of course this is the internet, so it was probably owned cats.

Well I guess it's a big barn full of dusty cool cars any way around. It's the "find" bit that seems a bit of a stretch,I can't really believe no one knew they were there.
