however have you thought about a hair equivalent? Hey, I don't post on here often, but this is a really good idea! I don't have a tash but if I did I would buy fat jacks for sure. The hair wax would be a good idea if you could produce that too and name suggestion if you don't mind, "Fat Jacks Do Wax" Good luck with the whole thing, seems to be taking off very well Better still - "Fat Jacks Do-Wop Wax" !

I would also like to buy some Fat Jack's Do Wax
In fact i may have to grow a 'tache just so i have an excuse to buy your product.
Oh and I may be a bit late, but has anyone mentioned the whole 'tache not tash thing? It may well be a deal breaker for your key demographic?

Yep, Tash/Tache/Mustache/Moustache thing has been discussed plenty. I'm always prepared to change things where necessary, but people don't really seem to mind it. I decided to try and keep each word in the name short, 4 letters or less, just as it spreads more nicely on the logo. In all the packaging and info its described as a Moustache Wax, the only thing I've had mentioned in ebay messages and questions is the apostrophe. Which people don't seem to mind when its explained. I'll be honest, I'm not sure what my key demographic is. I've sold things to steampunk people, rockabilly, old guys, young people growing a 'tache for a laugh... Hair products really are a different ball game to what I'm currently doing. I'd absolutely love to expand it to that, but the product is completely different. I'm not going to rule it out, but its the sort of product I'd have to do in partnership with a cosmetics manufacturer, as I simply couldnt produce something I'd consider acceptable in terms of quality. Tshirts are definately coming. Colours and sizes are being looked at, Whites, Greys, dark blues, some blacks, sizes mainly M/L/XL/XXL.

Bruce - Almost missed your reply!
I would be absolutely delighted to listen to anything you could suggest.
I'm determined to keep the price-point as close to what I'm currently at, devalueing the brand would make it hard to raise prices again.
All suggestions are welcome, no matter how small/grand they are.
Combs are my next port of call actually. Must get cracking with that.

received today, as others have said packaging is excellent, the finishing touches even to the envelope will ensure happy customers. For me the icing was seeing the "date manufactured" on the instruction leaflet. very nice, thanks

I'd love to send out a randomly selected biscuit with each order, but I don't think they'd survive the post. Glad people are liking the packaging, I'm going to be tweaking things slightly, but I am almost happy with it.

I used a marker pen to cover my address but it showed through. I was also eating biscuits... The little logo sticker on the front makes ALL the difference. The biggest giveaway, in my opinion, that you are only just starting out was the use of a Wallace and Grommit Christmas stamp. I end up noticing stuff like that for my job when looking out for fraudulent stuff so I'm being REALLY fussy in even mentioning it ;D I'd maybe be tempted to combine the 'thanks for your order' and 'sender' stickers. Having them separate doesn't really add anything other than cost

Yep, the return address sticker is something I'll be changing over the easter period. The stamp thing - I work for a regal letter delivery company (I think you get the idea) and we are all given 50 each christmas. I usually use plain 2nd class stamps for all sticker only orders, but popped on a 1st as it was a RR person. All the wax orders use plain large letter stamps. I need to find better quality postal envelopes too. All little tweaks and changes that improve things. Ta for the feedback though, appreciated.

I have been privy to a very small section of his brain and it is all good. Really impressed with the envelope and packaging. Well done !!

. I need to find better quality postal envelopes too. hmmm, I find this a little strange if I'm honest. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the envelope. If anything I felt it was too big for the goods inside, it could easily (and still as impressive) be half the size imo. unless you're able to buy better quality at the same cost I cant see what more expensive packaging will achieve, by that I mean I think you've already got it just right

The card sleeves are perfect - its for sticker-only orders that I use plain white envelopes.
The card envelopes were cheaper than people think. I did have to buy 400 of them, but they are generally known as record mailers, and I got a cracking deal on them.

As others have said this looks amazing!
Unfortunately I seem completely unable to grow half decent facial hair, but I've just started to shave with a safety razor - If you ever make some shaving soap I will definitely buy some!
