...but I don't. Not that I'd have the guts to drive it anywhere. There is something awesome about the stretch/poke on that back wheel, even though - like the rest of the car - there are reasons not to like it.

You're exactly right, horrible Blancmange colour, excessive stretch, crappy eyebrows... but my god does it work as a package.

I like the idea of smoothing the passenger doorhandle and keeping the drivers side one. Don't think I've noticed that on anything else before.

I can't bring my self to like the wheel fitment, but I do like the car. The wheels just look somewhat out of place to me, they don't really work with the cars lines, but then I guess I just don't get it, lol.
I did see a mk1 MX-5 the same colour as foxy's Avitar outside Tesco in Cowley (Oxford) a little while back, it was mildly lowered over some 'meh' 15's, but had heaps of potential, I was really wishing my phone camera worked at the time!

I don't think the wheels suit the overall look. I reckon some 17"(f) and 18"(r) billet directionals would finish the 90s street rod look perfectly.

I keep coming back to look at this and it pleases me but hurts me in equal measure. I knew this concept would rock a fat one but I'm just curse word thati didnt do it first. This is as near as damn it what i had in my head 11 years ago. Talk about a worldly collective conciousness!

Nope, don't like a single thing about it. The wheels look stupid in the arches, looks totally undriveable, the stretch is pointless, the colour's not really that original and the eyebrows look cheap.
Just don't get the obsession with stretch and excessive lowering, at all.
