Hi all i thought i would just put up some pics of my little beast. Il let the pics do the talking. When i first got it. After a few weeks i changed a fiar few things. Added the twin 40's, Ashley exhaust system, Kent fast road cam,Aldon ignighter kit and Roll Cage. After a few weeks of driving it around and enjoying it i spotted a nice set of KN Mercury wheels cheap, So added them to the car. This week i was very busy with the back end of the car i started to make an Anti Tramp Kit and clean/ repaint the whole under of the car. so i got stuck in to making the setup based on this kit. After a bluepeter start with cardboard i finally got stuck into the 3mm steel. All tacked together. Then had a trial fitment. After spending a few hours under the car i decided to strip the axle, leafs, shocks etc... to clean and paint also want to paint the chassis and floorpan so the tools came back out. Had a slight issue with the leaf spring bolts. nothing an angle grinder cant fix. I now have all this to clean and paint. So after a few days of making the tramp kit and working out what i want to.M father in law put a 7" revolution under the arch with a few bricks JUST TO SEE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. And well thats when my whole plan went bye the waist side ;D. What do you think.

Really liking this!
Funnily enough i have just gotten home today from picking up a 1960 100e delux as a joint project between me and my father. We have been planning mods all morning and it seems from the photos you have done a few we have been thinking of.
Is it an Escort rear axle you have fitted? Is it a straight forward fit?
What gearbox is fitted?
How did you do the front disk conversion?
Any other mods you can reccommend doing? as we bought a standard car and were thinking of fitting a 1.9 TD as we have it sitting around, aswell as an escort axle.
I'll update my build thread with info.
Cheers

Cheers plasticfantastic. well its a 105e axle on std 100e leaf springs and dampers. up front its 2.8 capri struts and disc's and calipers. as for a motor i would suggest a x flow or pinto both motors will need bulk head work tho. but its work it. il pm you the details of my father in law as I'm not to sure about putting the names of a company on this forum.

Hi all another small update for you all, Front end lowered a bit more, seat and harness fitted. engine all wired back in and running now. MOT booked for this sat then i can start to sue her. Next up 2" decamber on the leaf springs, quickshifter, fitting oil pressure, water temp gauges and a rev counter. snap off steering wheel boss and a few switchs to operate the indicators, wipers etc.I also want to figure out how to improve the steering lock it has 2" extentions on the steeering rack but i still have a weak lock.

That looks brilliant, spot on stance and wheels. Is it going one colour or staying like that (I hope it's staying, although I do like the original )
