Had an Idea, following the Citroen thread - someone mentioned the peugeot museum.

I think you should start making contact with Nissan now to see if you can add that to next year's NHOA trip (and make me even more envious in the process.....).

I would,.. but I'm going to be in the States the month before,.. so its a bit of a financial no go at the moment... Definatly going to get myself into the Nissan museum though,.. the Toyota one is open to the public I believe...

The Zama Warehouse is invitation only and even then it's only maybe once or twice a year at most I believe.

A bit closer to home, the Toyota importers in Holland apparently have a rather nice collection of old, erm, Toyotas. They seem to be getting well into it and are buying stuff that pre-dates the time they were selling them. Not sure if open to general public, but my Dutch friend Iwan says he could get me in there no prob's. Similarly, the Nissan importers in Norway have fantastic selection of old stuff going back to the very early 60's. I had the pleasure of driving one of their cars, a cute little 1969 Sunny 1000, when I visited in 2000.

Correct. Operates in much the same way as the superb museum at Gaydon (now owned by Ford).

That'll be the Louwman Collection, they've got lots of cars and recently bought all the sports racing cars from the Rosso Bianco Collection, some of them are on display. They are open to the public, see www.louwmancollection.nl for details. I still have to go myself...

Ist das eine Fuldamobil oder so etwas? Dass sind ja Wirtschaftwunder! Or something like that. They've got some weird curse word, like a swan car; and stuff likt his 1912 Detroit Electric Clear Vision Brougham; a lovely electric thing, apparently you can steer it from either the front or the back seat...
