been thinking of it for a while and still not sure. the rear pipe on the motor were made up from donated stainlesss and they sound lovely but.................................. I'm really tempted to go old skool and get a pair of those downward facing chrome trims for the end........not sure though. your thoughts?

i think if they came out straight they would look better the down swept ones are nice but i think they would look a little awkward with angle the pipes come out at

yep, thats what i was thinking. i went for side swept after seeing something kind of similiar, think it was on an old range rover. i thought it just looked completely different to what everyone else had, and thats what i wanted on the car.ill shelve the down facing tips idea....just needed my thoughts confirming . when the turbo goes on ill probably have a side exit set up anyway and bypass the rear completely

Thanks copey, that was the plan when ,most people go for the larger pipe option but this has a nice throaty burble without being in your face.

I don't think they'd suit your car, they're more of a 60's and 50's classic type of accessorie. If we're thinking about the same thing?
If you want downard facing i'd suggest a third of a 3,5 - 4" stainless bend, polished.
TBH i think you should have something that fills up the hole in the valace, or if you want to run the like they're now, fill up the hole.

hmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe, when i get the turbo sorted hopefully later this year ill have to start a new exhaust all over again. th eturbo parts are all over the place being prepared but good friends so as soon as they're all back ill get busy. may opt for a side exit pipe if the turbo quietens things down enough. or maybe a straight through pipe
