Then, OMG, Tat!!!!! Then, OMFG Only Andy flibberting Frost! !!! What a nice bloke. Please help his quest for World's Fastest Vauxhall Victor by buying a sticker off him or donating. Please. Later that evening we retired to our pitch and amused ourselves by playing Buckaroo with MrMouseBladder. I haven't laughed so hard in ages. Eventually he decided to wake up and go to sleep in his tent. We stayed up until about 3 idly chatting (quietly). Mr Blobby did appear at some stage. Utterly terrifying.

Saturday morning arrived with a thump. It was too early, too bright and slightly moist. And it got moister. Then it got drier. This turned up. I'm not a beetle person but I rather liked it. Proper Minis next door. Was surprisedhappyamazed that this made it. I love the diversity at The Gathering. Free beer which I'm sure was great but I'm always wary of free unattended alcohol. This... And this! Another strange blend of metal. Charade, Camaro, Delta etc Epic. Another proper Mini. Phils R9 Shenaniganery Then it got moist again. We invited the lads in the Fords to shelter with us as it's not fun sitting in a car in the peeing rain. Then we found some food etc and mooched to the paddock.

Awful photo of some cool cars. . . Kinda sets the theme for my photography aptitude. Very nice Lada. Simple but effective long roof 405... Oof. Oof. Kadett Coupes do it for me. Then Friday night arrived....

Our motley assemblage preparing to leave from our top secret base in The New Forest, halfway between Lymington and New Milton, not far from the National Park boundary. Then stuck in some hellish traffic with the Monza disliking it. Having a drink.... Some need a larger drink than others. Camping area secured and after a long battle for planning permission we got our indoor area sorted. Then it was time to mooch around the site.

Surely Monzas are still sub 1k or is it only when I need to sell a car that the prices slump? Last GSE I sold made £550 on the road and nice. Last one I bought was cheaper than that. In fact the last 3 I've bought cost under a grand in total.

Fleet vehicles often end up with sequential plates and if these were registered together the same sort if thing would happen.
If I had a big enough yard (or any sort of yard) I'd love to re home those.

Ha. Yes the stereo was in a box with a CD changer. I believe the spoiler will be for a Daihatsu Cuore next year. In the mean time I've been fitting stickers to the Monza and buying 24 valve engines...

I got rid of a wing for a car I don't own and bought a spoiler for a something. I also bought a fuse box cover that i don't need for a Monza. I have fitted it anyway though. As some of you may know, I needed a car stereo so the other thing I got was perfect. See the gap here that is stereo sized? Perfect. I love auctions.

Really liked this and got some pics but was too busy being rained upon or hiding from stalker Mr Blobby to have a chat.
We all reckoned it would look ace two tone to match the front bumper.

I think Foxy offered to take our rubbish to the skip (thanks) but we had a round up of our area and surroundings and I reckon I only picked a couple of tins and bottles and a few things. Vastly better than last year, well done.
If someone can fix the weather for next time that would be super.

I'm glad to see the back of that Alfa 155 wing and doubly glad to have only managed to buy good tat. Possibly with the exception of "that" spoiler.

Good luck. Hopefully I've paid for some tyre valve caps or something.

I was pulled over in my parents driveway while driving someone else's Lotus a few years ago. My folks were slightly bemused as to why I'd brought the local law enforcement home with me.
They didn't like my acceleration rate (or the noise) (leaving work) but I always stick to the speed limit when white estate cars with stuff on the roof are behind me. By the time he'd considered blue lights etc I'd got to where I was going. ...
My folks only live a road away from my work...
