AUSTIN Victoria by Trabantino, on Flickr Based on the ADO16 and redesigned by Michelotti, the Victoria was built in Spain from 1972 to 1975. 16.000 units only in 4 years. Very few survivors remain, since British Leyland closed the factory in 1975, and spare parts became a problem. Although, today, it's much easier to keep them going, with the help of Internet and the fact that most parts are identical to the AUSTIN MORRIS MG ADO16.

I would have been 20 years old in 1991 and would have been driving my Mini Pick-up which had a modified 1300 GT engine installed, Alley Kat Rally Specials with Pirelli P7F tyres, Recaro seats from a Ford Escort RS turbo & bonnet vents from a Ford Sierra Cosworth Mk1. I was one of the first to get 13" wheels to fit a Mini without cutting the bodywork. (thanks to the P7F tyres.) As it was only just eleven years old when I brought it it was quite solid, but had many dents from its previous industrial life. It went like absolute stink, as except for the Recaros and Mini Cooper steering wheel it had very little interior. (No carpets & the door cards were cardboard). With the big bore exhaust, you could hear me coming from half a mile away. :-) My BL Mini 95 Pick-up EOE 309V by Kevin Day, on Flickr I would have just brought my Reliant Scimitar SS1 too. That was pretty much standard except for the colour change I made when I had it sprayed Rover Nightfire metalic red.. but that wasn't until about 1994. In it's time in my ownership, I did pretty much end up rebuilding this car from the ground up as I either had to replace everything because it broke or modify it because Reliant had designed parts of it badly. Lucky enough, I worked for Lucas and had access to info of what parts they borrowed from other makes. (Mainly Ford & B.L. parts). The 2nd picture is from when I had it resprayed and the 1st is from when I first had it. The Rover P8 Prototype is apparently at Gaydon but it’s in a bit of a mess. Pics were taken a few years ago and are from ARonline I've never seen this Rover before either. I can see why it never made production. It certainly ain't a looker from the back.

Are the Sprint versions different to the other Sud models? Here is a front bumper from Itay at the resonable price of £83.52 with free postage.(eBay item number:283126543084) And he also has the rear one for £84.65(eBay item number:283126543075)

I'm not quite sure if the car looks 'suspiscious' or just a little bit ill now. (and not ill in a good way!) Previously I thought the 4x6 units were a little bit rx7 esque - now they're on I don't really think so any more. Never mind though, the important view is this one: I see what you mean about the car looking ill. It's not the headlights though, it's the offset number plate. It looks like a thermometer in it's mouth. I like the lights and would keep them if this car was mine. Maybe get a square number plate fitted? (Like in the below photo).

The title of this thread struck me as being somewhat tongue misleading. Taking into account the era when most of these vehicles were manufactured, and the disposable income available to many, then such cars were definitely better than catching the bus, or even having to walk. The selection of cars revealed clearly appeal to many, who also think that their vehicles are cool. Takes all sorts. The title is sarcastic. retrolegends the thread starter lists an Allegro on banded steels as one of his vehicles, and then goes on to post lost of cool BMC stuff. The thread is then full of really cool stuff with the odd shocker thrown in for good measure. I'm sure you meant ironic, not sarcastic. Being sarcastic is like verbal irony, only to convey contempt or to mock. This thread is the opposite of that.

I think it too would be better without so much camber, but I suspose that without it you wouldn't get those wheels under the arches as they are and the whole look would be ruined if you added arch extensions.
I think that it just doesn't look like it would be nice to drive, but we aren't driving it, you are. So good on you.

Stolen from FB. Quote from poster. Suzuki Lapin kei cars converted by a company called Dream Factory Blow in Japan. We need to see one of these parked next to the real (full sized) trucks.
