Caught on my dashcam while I was in Makro today so this is a photo of a paused video on my tv which is why it's a bit fluffy around the edges. Pretty special though. I want. Another dodgy Ford photo! Phone case needs replacing, XR4x4 turbo technics badge, 17inch momo's. Cossie bonnet and bumper. As grubby as sin, but oh so nice. I wanted to go home and fetch a bucket and sponge!

Had the chance to have a good look at a Paul Stephens 911, 964 retro style. Given the choice I'd prefer yours it's just got character and sole. Really like what you have done on this.

Here's my starting point... That's a clean looking Pao, I'd have any of the above but the 65 is very nice. But the 56 is just...,,, I can't photo shop but can cut and paste the old school way. Done many years ago, I think the chassis was a vette.

My favourite 90's wheel - the Brock B1 With 'Car Fashion' flat centre caps no less. Why did I sell these wheels? And this car? I see your Brock B1's and raise you Brock B2.

Too bad... Were the headlight visors on your Pao from Mooneyes? Thanks to you guys I was able to find Deans for my car 13x5... monsters! I have 13" wide wheels on 2 of my current cars. This Pao thing is totally different from what I'm usually working on. The headlamp visors were from a Figaro, cross eyed as to big and interfered with bonnet went you opened it.

I'm determined to have myself another van this year for camping/exploring/fishing trips. Have always been a Vw guy but realise that even the shittest 1.9 non-turbo T4s with over 250k miles are fetching over 3 grand, I have to look elsewhere. A guy at work has a mk6 transit on sport alloys and they do look good. Lots of space and good engines. I'm looking at buying it and doing my own pop top conversion. Will be doing the lot even molding the glass roof. Another van that I think looks good and has lots of space, is the LDV maxus. I don't know much about their reliability (or lack of) but they do look good. I was offered this today £500 with a snapped cambelt, and less than 100k

Use all of the Polo parts and swap them into the ABD. It's the same block, just a different crankshaft stroke and a better cylinder head. It sounds like you've been reading about AFH'a- you shouldn't need to swap the pulleys or thermostat housing. But if they are different, just put all your 1.0 stuff on the 1.4, it will fit. You won't get the ABD's full potential with all the 1.0 bits but it'll be a hell of a lot faster. At a later date you can swap your throttle body and ECU to 1.3 items from another mk2f polo. Cheers Fungus expect Pm when it goes pear shaped. Cheap shiny metal thing arrived today! Sun is out but stuck in office. Could be cracking on!

Cheers for the comments, have no issue running different size tyres. Passed mot last month with 175/70 on rear and 165/65 on front. Will see if I can get some 145/70 cheap and go from there. Ta

Calliper clearance is my problem, on the wheels at the moment. I need to space the wheels out 15mm, but going that far out will push against the arch. Car in question.
