Big price drop on this. The car will come with standard alloy wheels at this price not the optional spiderwebs shown.

I'm having to sell my 924 due to loosing my storage. I purchased the car early last year to drive the North Coast 500 route with some friends, but the car hadn't been on the road for a while at the time and the recommissioning took longer than I expected! Hence the car wasn't finished in time for the trip and now that it is complete, I have no space to keep it.
The paint isn't great to say the least, but there are very few around in this colour as it is 911 colour primarily. The car has had a great deal of money and time spent on it in the last year or so and runs great. I planned to have the car repainted once the mechanical work was complete, but I am having to sell instead. In my ownership the car has had the following new parts:
Front crossmember
Track rod ends
Front anti-roll bar
Front wishbones & bushes
Water pump
Alternator
Ignition coil
HT Leads
Injectors
Injector seals
Camshaft oil seal
Crank oil seal
Sump gasket
Head gasket
Cambelt & tensioner
Auxiliary Belt
Bonnet gas struts
Clutch (Sachs)
Pilot bearing
Thermostat
Spark plugs
Exhaust manifold studs and nuts
Exhaust manifold gasket
Steering shaft
Fuel Filter
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Distributor Cap
Rotor Arm
The car is currently MOD'd until September and starts runs and drives very nicely.
I will add more photos tomorrow, please ask if you have any questions.

Nice motor, I have the same wheels on mine they are wantanbe so worth a few quid. Suit the car perfectly. Thank you mate, I did try to find out what they were but drew a blank.... Perhaps I should sell them separately? Any tips on cleaning them by the way?!

Offers and swaps considered. Bargain for a low mileage UK car.

Given the current uplift in MX-5 prices, that looks a bargain. Thank you, it's by far the best one I found over a long period of searching.

Having searched long and hard for a good one, I'm reluctantly putting the MX-5 up for sale.
The car is a late Mk1 1600, a proper UK car built in 1997 and has done only 76,000 miles from new. I purchased it from a gentleman who was planning to track it but couldn't bring himself to as it is in such good condition! it then sat in his garage for a few years. It is in very good and remarkably solid shape, the sills are strong and solid and there is no sign of any previous damage whatsoever. The spot welds are still there in the rear arches, so there has been no patching or repairs done there. It drives very well indeed and is standard apart from a set of coil overs, a aftermarket air filter and a set of magnesium minilite wheels all fitted by the previous owner. Everything works and I have fitted an early standard fit Momo wheel. The drivers seat bolster is worn but the rest of the interior is in good shape.
The car has 12 months MOT starting a couple of days ago. It needed a new brake caliper and a split pin, these are now sorted. I fitted a brand new battery yesterday, the service book, manuals and paperwork are all included as are a tonneau cover, hood cover (for outdoor parking) and a brand new stick-on front plate which I haven't got round to fitting yet.
SOLD

Not the one I was thinking of, but that might work, is it for sale? Is it an original mx-5 wheel? If so do you have the Mazda pad for the centre?

My recently acquired mk1 MX-5 has a nasty aftermarket wheel fitted and I'd like to put it back to standard. I'm looking for the original MOMO or Nardi wheel if possible. Many thanks.
