Right desperately need a sort out of my garage so I can actually get a car in it again Will sort pictures out tomorrow night but for now here's a list of what I can remember off the top of my head! Super scope classic rear view mirror 28" long - original 60's item ultimate period accessory £40 Ono Provisionally sold Custom mgb bonnet with a Mitsubishi Shogun bonnet bulge/scoop grafted on and louvres- ideal if your running a conversion to feed the engine bay with much needed air! Few knock and dents from storage but a one off - £60 Also le style front spoiler, no holes where number is as stuck, no damage £25 Ono Both pictured below, 1303 beetle vented decklid complete with cowl and light plinth no rust - £20 Job lot of Nissan/Datsun panels - all front wings and nos/brand new 7 in total from memory including cherry, sunny, navara, early datsun pick up aswell will put a full list on tomorrow easy money to be made if sold separately but I don't have the time or even just use them as a supply of steel for your restoration project/fab work - provisionally sold. Over 60 Haynes manual nos - bulk of them have the original plastic wrapping unopened (not your usual tatty manuals) covers various makes and models 60-90's - suit trader - £30 need them gone, easy profit to be made even if sold at £1 a piece! Full list and photo's available. Provisionally sold. BMW e30 sideskirts to suit 5 door - original BMW items with a separate end piece by jacking points. In black abs plastic, believe these were fitted to the SE models? £25 Set of 5 mgb le style alloys, 4x good Bridgestone tyres although one needs puncture repair, spare alloy comes with no tyre £75 pictures to follow. 4x114.3 so will fit many other cars. Pair of early mgb pull handles, requiring full refurb, spring has broke on one and generally tired. £10 Paddy hopkirk roof bars, will clamp to any car with roof gutters £20 Ono Universal dog guard, I used this when I converted my 106 into a van to stop all the curse word in the back coming through £10 A pair of Jaguar Xf back boxes, hardly done any mileage as removed for stainless items. Being off a diesel they are very free flowing and fairly large diameter pipe. Perfect if your making up your own exhaust system only £20 as I need the space! Original 60's beetle front seats £60 ono think the runners a per 67? A bit rusty on my beetle knowledge! See pics in good order for age some piping coming away and one split to side. All located by lichfield Staffordshire and all ONO. Will update with photos tomorrow.

Epic build mate, paint finish looks superb! Can I pick your brain whilst I'm at it, what grade paper do you flat off with prior to top coat?

That's looks shocking in those pics and I bet it's worse in real life! I personally would get a quote/report on the work and how much to put it right from another reputable bodyshop and demand the remedial works take place there, there's no way I'd let it go back to the original body shop.

Really gutted for you! and much respect for not letting them beat you.
I'd take the plugs out of the engine and spin it over on the starter or by hand and the compression should blast the water out the cylinders and drain the oil, put fresh in (cheap stuff that you can get from asda) turn it over again to get the oil pressure built up and drain it again...and repeat etc. You will have to do the petrol tank aswell I bet.
What complete bastards some people are, only blessing is that at least it suffered no major structural damage...
Look forward to seeing you progress with this.
