Thanks for the info , the manifold is very short so wether this has something to do with the heat concerns I do not know !! Will check again with Tullet !!

Morning Guys , The Rings are made by JE And supplied with the pistons , as for Turbo Blankets well !! I used to run with Turbo blankets until I had a gasket fail on the Turbo to manifold section and the resulting hot gases set fire to the blanket π±π± the blanket muffled the sound of the gasket blowing so I could not hear the joint blowing !!! Tullet who make the inconel exhaust manifolds do not recommend wrapping as it can over heat the manifold causing it too crack !! New intercooler has been designed by Radtec and with a 80mm boost outlet is going to look massive !

Hi guys hope you are all doing well ? All ok this End , been cracking on with the rebuild along with loads of biking to try and get fit !! New kidney is working well and seems very happy π Have done loads of upgrades to bit , mainly fuel related to try and improve the general setup !! Bigger injectors fitted with a new lower fuel rail to get rid of the spacers , have modified the fuel rail to allow the fuel to flow right through it then return to the regulator , Radtec are building a new intercooler with F1 technology π new 80mm outlet up from 65 should help the airflow into the throttle body !! Exhaust has been rebuilt and re wrapped . Rolling road booked for the 6th April so hopefully find a bit more power π

So quick update , after Autosport the Noble was dropped off at Jetstream Motorsport for the engine to be removed , this is something I would normally do myself but I did not want to risk anything as my recovery is going very well !!! Dave had the engine out in a couple of days so from there itβs gone to James Pinkerton to have the new valves fitted , these are new inconel exhaust valves to make sure we do not get the valve breaking problems we had a couple of years ago !!!!! The bottom end is staying in one piece as itβs mint so itβs just a heads off job , we have also sourced a lightweight engine mount to replace the cast unit 10 kg π±π±π± new one is 2kg ππ So far the weight removed is 22kg !!!!! We are hoping for a 30kg loss in total πππ Engine news is very good , it still looks like new inside and with what we know we expect the engine to last 3 seasons of TA π testament to how good the Duratec lump really is !!!

Morning , interesting question ref the oil changes , firstly I use very good quality oil , opie oils supply me with Fuchs Pro 10w 60, itβs a Ester based oil that I do not generally run over 120 degrees , This year the oil and filter will be changed ready for the start of the season then normally changed mid way through , I have never been one to change too regularly. When the engine was brand new it was changed 3 times over 1000 miles but after that I resume normal changes .

Sorry , so when the blade is upright itβs very stiff and will not flex , as you turn the blade towards being flat it starts to flex , about 35% adjustment :

So the winter mods begin , Friday I dropped the car off at Corner Force ltd , they specialise in suspension and mainly make fully adjustable blade type anti roll bars . The Noble does not have any roll bars fitted and only the latest M400 cane with a very stiff roll bar that just created understeer !! These bars will be the first ever made for a noble and hopefully will help control the body roll a bit !! This photo shows a lot of roll even with pretty stiff springs !! I also got sent this awesome photo by one of the professional guys that work for TA .

Hi Guys , well it does not clash with a Time Attack event !!! And with a fully functioning kidney I'm very much up for this !! Can I bring the Noble to have a go at the sprint ? Will the camping include Motorhomes ? Cheers Tux

Hi guys , just thought I would check in , everything going very well , kidney function is up to 52% which is amazing !!! Over the weekend we attended the Time Attack presentation evening this was the first proper night out we have had this year so we partied pretty hard πππ Dawn was so hungover Sunday morning she could eat nothing but dried toast πππ And still looked pretty green ! It was great to really let our hair down and enjoy the night ! I was also very emotional as I was there to collect my winners trophy which as you all no was a amazing moment for me and the Noble !!! I also received a special award from TA called the "Spirit of Time Attack" This was given to me for attending every round this year and moving up a class and winning that higher class !!! Again very honoured and finished off a amazing few weeks !! I'm looking forward to Christmas, then it's Autosport then the work begins to get the car ready for TA 2018 , hopefully you guys will be along for the ride . Tux
