Bit late replying to this haha but it was fitted by Den at Slambassador in Skelmersdale. A few pics of various different states it’s found it’s self in. The green springs were a 60mm drop, the blacks were 110mm, now it’s sat on hydros giving it a 160mm drop overall The bench seat is custom fabricated out of 2 single T4 seat bases and a rear bench seat from a T2 bay. Did you do the hydro work yourself or did you get someone to fit it for you? Asking for a friend.

It is comfy but it needs moving forward 2” but I’ve had to mod the handbrake already just to get 2 clicks. Luckily the hydros allow the van to bottom out, so I just the front subframe as a handbrake at present hahaha

Absolutely. And not meant offensive against you. I read that you´ve been absent for a while. I don´t know if photobucket EVER was the best way, but in the last few months you could always read about it, how it killed lots of threads, since lots of pictures simply disappeared. And pictures which have survived or could be rescued, now wear huge watermarks all over them. Nah it’s cool. When I google issues with my vans/cars and end up on a random forum, there’s nothing worse than finding the solution “with pics” but the images are no longer available haha

Think that’s the “retro racks” owners van. Tis smart. Kind of like mine but more professionally built and finished haha I think your rig looks pretty smart, so less self-depreciation required, ok? Thanks man. I happy with it, would like the paint a little more “patina’d” as that’s the sort of look I’m going for, not the fresh built look, mainly because I use it daily for work and any new paint would just get ruined.

This is where I’m at with mine at the moment.... Thats awesome, has it even got tyres on it? lol 195/40 on a 7j, so not really haha Wheels need changing if I’m been honest and better, more load rated tyres needed also. They were a cheap option before the hydraulics were fitted so I could so how low it would go.

Nope, I was wrong, it was a single cab version. And yes, ignore the commentary. It's mostly grating. Think that’s the “retro racks” owners van. Tis smart. Kind of like mine but more professionally built and finished haha

This is where I’m at with mine at the moment.... I'm sure I saw this in an Adam4c video recently. I have no idea who that is pal. Post a fair bit on Instagram like but don’t know anyone by that handle.

How it started..... How it’s going.... where to start on the mods.....rear bed was removed and replaced with scaffold boards, suspension was dropped 100mm on custom shock mounts and springs, then later replaced with full hydraulic rams, custom engine mount, fully chassis notched, golf Vr6 front splitter, hub adaptora and T5 GP steels fitted, clear indicators and bonnet deflector. Inside hasn’t changed much but it’s next on the list, originally fitted Audi TT seats, then removed and replaced with a custom Vw T2 bench seat fitted in front and aftermarket Nardi steering wheel. not sure whether this really belong on here but if there’s enough interest (or any at all haha) I’m probably going to start a build thread, even if it’s just for my own enjoyment.

What’s the general consensus with vans and trucks on here?
Haven’t been on here for a few years due to....that’s a long story.
Bought a T4 Doka last year and thought I’d have a look on here for some but they seem to be few and far between.
Vans/trucks not really popular on here?
