You'll scrub off speed with a fixed axle too, spliting it or having one wheel rotating on the axle is definitely the way to go. We use these duel cable leavers on the Greenpower cars at school. They have a ballance bar built in. www.greenpower.co.uk/product/44

Sanitora is the nickname of the B110 Sunny trucks. Hakosuka is the nickname of the C10 Skyline coupes. Put a C10 Skyline nose on a sunny truck and you have a Hakotora.

I've used a clear spray sealer, velspar I think. This (fortunately) didn't react with the Halfords clear lacquer top coat.

White waterslide transfer paper was used on these, with the body colour round the outside to hide the white edge when trimming.

Here's a Mini I sold recently You could buy a FibreSlots universal chassis ;-) www.facebook.com/FibreSlots . Pendle Slot Racing have a comprehensive range of parts. It will very quickly escalate to the price of a RTR car unless you reuse components from an old car, or mix and match new and reclaimed parts. Just out of curiosity, where would you get the parts if you fancied building something from scratch using a 1/32 scale kit for a body?

I don't know, it looks like something I might have made - and I've certainly got a bitmap version of it somewhere, whether I made the original, I can't confirm!

Can ask you Mr Bognor are the shells formed using coloured plastic or do you paint them? Either way thet have a very good finish. Thanks! The Anglia is formed in Yellow plastic, the other three are white plastic painted. I used Halfords car body paint, with a couple of coats of their clear lacquer over the top to protect the waterslide transfers, on the painted and plastic shell. I'm usually a bit ham fisted with paint, but these do seem to have come out OK. It was so cold I made an extra effort to get the paint warm, which probably helped.
