/DRIVE on YouTube is pretty cool, the Chris Harris stuff is good because it's not American or Jeremy Clarkson.
Edit: Re-read OP - I read PPC, this month's came with a flier for 'Retro Show' in it. I occasionally get Retro Cars mag but most of the cars are already on here!

Two ways really, just bear in mind how you're going to fuse them. You could take a feed from the solenoid and daisy chain (piggy-back) using crimps like this: You'd need to use fairly chunky cable and appropriate sized crimps throughout. Also, the outputs would need to be fused. Alternatively you could use a fuse board for distribution. Take the feed to something like this and distribute the power from the fuses to the individual relays.

Keeping your old car is a slippery slope. At first I thought it extravagant to have two cars, now I have five.
I think the trick is to keep a good turnover going, keeps your interest without too much attachment.

Best of luck with the car pal, looks like it'll keep you busy for a while. According to the owner's handbook with my Vitesse, carb models were fitted with a fuel flow transducer which was used to estimate MPG for the display

It hasn't rained for at least 48hrs so I've decided to sell the hard top. It's a genuine Mazda top with a heated rear screen and is made from what looks like fibreglass on an alloy frame. It's in generally good condition although not perfect. There are a few marks around the edges and a few light scratches on the top. Hopefully these pictures illustrate the flaws. It will fit a mk1 or mk2 MX5. The item is in Sheffield S13 and I'm looking for £280.

If you're willing to pay list price they're available. Rimmer's have run out but I got the part number from them, ASB41031, and found this - South Lakes Minis -£170I'm looking to break my 800 saloon if you're interested in a good (metal-wise) panel. The paint is shot, looks like it was left in the sun and faded. I guess it's the same panel on the hatch/saloon/coupe?

Surely the production of a new car must be more damaging to the environment, what with the consumption of raw materials, including rare metals in things like cats, emissions from the factories and the amount of energy used. Not to mention the horrible batteries in electric and hybrid cars. You should see the underground car park at the houses of parliament, full of old Rollers, Bentleys, Bristols and Jags.

I've a Rover 800 Vitesse sat languishing unloved on my drive with a good engine, gearbox and a nice Recaro interior. It has a T-Series engine, which is basically a turbcharged M-Series, which I'm led to believe is a worked over, 16v O-Series, which I think is the son of the B-Series... Please fill in any inaccuracies! The car is worth sod all, unfortunately. I did a bit of man-maths at work and decided I'm pretty much as well off saving the good bits and scrapping the shell as I am trying to sell it. So... what to do with a (near as) 200bhp engine and FWD LSD 'box? The first thing that came into mind wasn't FWD in the slightest, an SD1 2000. Non-V8 SD1s are ridiculously cheap, sub 1k with MOT! They came with an O-Series tied to an LT77, easy swap right? Obviously if we're thinking 'Rover 2000', the P6 comes to mind first. Was this some kind of O-Series too? I know there's a chap on here who has put a turbocharged M16 in one, so I guess a T16 will fit? Looks super-retro-awesome too. A little more up to date now, I have a soft spot for 400 tourers. This really should be a 'straight swap'. Total sleeper? Montego Countryman? Now the link gets a little tedious... B-Series? Any other ideas? What engine came in a Marina?

To be honest, I think you'll struggle to beat megasquirt. It was designed as a DIY system for the home mechanic, although it can stick it to the big boys of the ecu world if you do want to get complicated. There is endless free internet based support too, if you've got a question its already been asked, posted online and answered. You can download the programming software for free (or a voluntary donation iirc), its called TunerStudio. Have a look at that and see how you feel about using it, on the whole it is self explanatory to someone like you who knows their TPS from their MAP sensor. Edit: Oh you meant the ECU should be self learning, not you learning the ECU! Megasquirt can do that too

As I'm sure you're aware, P6 front suspension is a bit of a special case. You'd normally poke the threaded end of the coilover through the strut top and bolt the 'eye' end to the bottom wishbone.
Neither of those locations really exist on a P6, so an amount of modification would be required. The more difficult bit,I would imagine, is attaching it to the lever arm where the spring normally sits.
Try changing the name of the thread to include 'P6' - someone else might be able to help.
