Here is my solution to the problems of carrying a bike on the back (where i can see it hasnt fallen off), having something that easily folds so I can fit in a parking bay, having something that lifts off easily (two pins with a padlock option) and something stronger and cheaper than the shop bought racks. This Metro was sitting on four flat tyres at the side of the street this week. After the death of the elderly home owner the house is being cleared and this metro re-appeared from the garage it has been sitting in since 2005. Yes, and much to SWMBO's irritation it hasnt really changed much since the move. Its now in a one car garage so work space is limited but I have a pop up tent on order that will allow me a covered space to push it out and work on it.

Wasnt there a chappy on here a while ago that restored one of these to near concourse condition before somebody drove into him? I seem to remember it being a light colour and he had a nightmare getting a decent payout from his insurance company.

Not imagining it, I remember that ad;

The follow-up video should be footage of the drivers going home to explain to their other halfs what happened to the car.

There was a nice shiny orange bus with similar trim built about 10 years ago. I'll have a look for pics. I remember that. Wasnt it an Orange 11 window with deeper sills to make the van look lower?

I was down that way about 10 years ago and came to the same conclusion. For me the Haynes museum was much better and the red room was amazing.
