You don't need to remove paint that is sound, or that you are happy is sound underneath, normally I would just strip to bare metal any areas that you know need attention, then spot prime these and sand the existing paint smooth Yeah... but I find some surface rust on the celling and other places, so since the car has 50 shades of paint on it I'll strip all the paint and give a new paint all around... Special brown primer for the first hand then 2k primer for filling and then 2/3 hands of 2k paint... I think that will do just fine for the next 20 years or so...

And yes, also looking forward to 164 updates. Seems like you've come so far I'd think you're past most of the expensive stuff... I'm passed lots of the work I can do myself... now needs things like leather interior retrim, custom engine management, custom exhaust manifold... John YEAH right ... We know that you can do that with your foot on your back... Stop with the excuses and work on it... Anyhow please don't rush it becaus it got to be prestime when done...

LLLOOOOLLL
I completly forgot that you are still running bike carbs and not EFI...
With that aside that's normal since my volvo 340 1.4 carb does de same and doesn't have any ehxaust box... WHen you put a silincer in the ehxaust it will go away

I heard at least a pop/bang, how's the AFR in that particular time??!?!
In my volvo 340 b14 does the same when I floor it and let go... It's a by product of left unburned gasoline in my case since it's a carb...
Nice one, again, it really shifts... cna't wait to get my Mitsubishi 4G13+T engine running with an evo ecu...
