looks like a great project - and, glad you removed the sharpie - silly to call it a V8 when obviously it is an inline 6!

Not my cup of tea but a great find all the same, hopefully the body wont be that bad and you will be up and running for summer as long as were all not locked away with that bug named after a beer!!
I do find my eye drawn to all the other stuff lurking about just in case! +1 this garage is pretty much my fantasy house find already.

Personally I think it's an ideal swap for an electric conversion it would not need to be ultra powerful but being a lightweight car and small the range from a modest system would be very good and probably not that expensive to do. Not wanting to teach granny to suck eggs but there is a heritage Henney Kilowatt en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henney_Kilowatt and briefly in Canada - Feel Good Cars. www.caranddriver.com/news/a15138449/renault-dauphine-car-news/I know where there is a stash of Dauphines in Ontario which I suspect were to be converted.

OK not exactly a car though by the end of the movie it was. AND no doors AND the driver wore leather helmet and googles I give you the Mad Max Gyrocopter.

James Bond's DB5 also had a machine gun protruding from next to the grille.

Clogged fuel filter or failing pump? Can she check for a vacuum by removing the filler cap? I take it that it is full of oil and water? I think it is - she is bringing it by on Friday - will report back

My daughter drives a 2002 Beetle - standard/ 2 litre engine. Lately she describes the car thusly - she says it starts fine and runs fine but after 45 minutes to an hour it gets rougher and rougher and more and more sluggish to the point that the other day she couldn't get over 100kph at full throttle.
any thoughts?
thanks all
