have this removed from a efi (alloy inlet type) early 1.8 silvertop zetec from a 1995 escort. genuine Bosch AFM and everything in the picture. only asking £25 posted the lot- the AFM are worth a fair bit on looserbay but priced hopefully to sell to an enthusiast? well worth it for a spare or for an upcoming efi conversion to your zetec?? cheers guys

The vac advance for the dizzy wants to come off just above the Venturi, no provision is on bike carbs usually, so just blank it off. If you tap into the runners, the vac signal is good for a map sensor or brake servo, no good for the dizzy. It's too strong and will just pull the advance unit to full advance at anything below full throttle. oo never knew those carbs existed ! and because they can be mounted nearly horizontal that's a bonus for ease of making a manifold as well. yes I must of got confused there I shouldn't be needing any vac advance from the dizzy as you say. what intrigues me is setting them up. what exactly do you mean by needle clip on the bottom groove with a washer under? sorry to ask I am new to these bike carbs I presume you mean the float needle? and why did you do that? I know I wont necessarily need to do that but its nice to know thanks for your video and reply

guys what would be the right type of bike carbs I would need on a 1300 cvh. its a stock engine just fully rebuilt have a distributor with vac advance so I believe all I need is the carbs, manifold (with vacuum outlets for the dizzy), and a bike carb fuel pump! would cbr600 Honda carbs be okay - what jet sizes would I need in them to run okay in a 1.3 cvh?? fancy a bit of noise and to replace the rubbish weber single carb set up I have! thanks in advanceeee

Welded a friends mk2 fiesta chassis rail.. metal finished it an all. (its my 3rd mk2 fiesta ive had the 'pleasure' of welding back to a complete state.)
Tomorrow I want to continue my garage clear out so many things should be for sale to maybe fund my mk1 Cortina build. might cut the grass as well. Exciting times?!
