Dosent work on those cars.
For a start they arnt the right kind of cooler. You don't see that type on J-tin very often iirc (if at all!)
they aint big enough
wheres the boso arches wings and exhausts?
and its a blatent copy of somthing done on J cars, get some imagination!
I thought of doing it on my new fiat but it just wont look right. imo

As its not needed as an oil cooler why not buy a couple of cheap stainless cheese graters lash them together with some silver gaffer tape and a couple of lengths of garden hose from B&Q (you could try the poundshop but theres isnt braided and it would look gash). Bosh it on and job done. If anyone says it looks w*nk, tell them you are being ironic

I fully support the idea and think it's a great plan. I reckon you should be looking at industrial equipment. Can you spend some time round the back of a local refrigeration products factory? Those ones in the pics above are a bit small. You want something much more industrial! Charlie

is a bit of a sad idea, whether there is oil running through it or not.
but some e30's had them. go look in a scrapyard:)

I think you'd need to do the whole looks,.. bold paint, negative camber, arch flares, muffler less exhaust etc. etc. for it to work. On it's own it's a bit like fitting a wing to a car, but no other bits of body kit to make the look complete.

I like it! Go for it! In fact... ...I too have thought about it and was going to raise a thread like this as I have considered such an accessory for my J-Tin cars (a sort of fun thing that I could mount for when I attend shows (along with the Boso exhaust pipes ) etc., but then remove for everyday driving) but could not find an oil cooler large enough from the car performance accessory places and all the other suppliers. Suggestions as to who makes a decent sized oil cooler? (Did wounder if a range rover one is large enough)

Maybe it would be cool if it had an obvious, golf-ball sized hole right through it?
