![](http://www.pevomuc.de/100-Cadillac/PECAAR.08/1984-A/84_Fleetwood_Brougham_01.jpg) I got one like this ^^^^ The stock wire wheel covers creak and rattle. As they do. So I fancied a different look. The stock real-wires are cool ![](http://www.pevomuc.de/100-Cadillac/PECAAR.08/1984-A/84sdv.jpg) But hard to find. Shock, horror, I don't want slot mags on it. PCD is 5x5". here's one in action in Night Rider ![](http://imcdb.org/i040038.jpg) this is not the look I am after ![](http://www.ridelust.com/wp-content/uploads/1984_cad_1.jpg) Paint is well cool though. Cheaper is best. I even thought about maybe some Grand Cherokee alloys... ![](http://jeepgrandcherokee.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/grand-cherokee10.jpg) anyway, any thoughts?

I have a set of 5 on 5 wires i took off a 68 Cadillac a couple of years ago, they are in usable condition requiring some cleaning up, i seem to remember they were made by Dunlop, and require specific wheel nuts which i don't have. Not sure if they fit the later cars

No hubcaps, faded whitewalls and a rap mixtape - pretend you live in the ghetto in the mid 90s or so.

5x5" you say? as in 127.6? that's a stupid fitting. here, anyway. whats this obsession with trying to "metricate" everything. Its 5 on 5". 127 whatever mm would indeed be a stupid fitment. Like 101.6mm, which is why thats 4" and why 114.3mm is 4.5" Demz other alloys are ProMods, by US Wheel as I recall. I will chance a bid on them as I liked them in the 90s and will doubtless find something to fit them on eventually.

Not sure if they fit the later cars I think the wheels from the 50s through to about '92 are same specs. By "special" do you mean I pay £4 each for them off Mr T or do you mean like the B&O hi fi I picked up at the weekend where the "special" stylus is £255! Ouch! I'm not really after wires but, mmm, pics and a price could sway me...

The stock real-wires are cool ![](http://www.pevomuc.de/100-Cadillac/PECAAR.08/1984-A/84sdv.jpg) But hard to find. anyway, any thoughts? Absolutely the stock wires! They are a pain in the tuckus to find, even over here, but they look absolutely fantastic on a Fleetwood. Plus, on an interesting side note, the '92 Brougham was the last mass produced car to be sold with real wires. If it helps they were made for Cadillac by Dayton, I am sure you can get a set from them but they are very expensive. Those hubcaps on the burgandy car are from 82-84ish, unbolt the wire adapters and they will pop right on to your wheels...
