Looking great Keefy If I may make a quick suggestion a few tie wraps would at least make the wiring a bit less messy but still accessable for fiddlling Hope it passes the MOT!

Tried replying on here yesterday but my NTL broadband went dead in the process. After a bit of fiddling* with the main NTL supply box 200yds up the road this morning, I seem to have connection back! Mind you, it looked surprisingly like the 411 loom when I opened the big green box up... Number 68 now have the sh*t NTL connection. Serves them right for nicking my recycling bin - I know it was them... *don't try this at home, kids!Anyway, thanks for the welcome, guys! oh my. Welcome to RR by the way mr Dafandago, I think you and I have met before.... I helped do the brakes once on your black Oval when you used to live near my Nan.. Hi Dave! Not seen you around here in a while! I'm still cruising around these parts - hit me up when you're down this way next! The black Oval is long gone! - Not sure if you've seen the new ride? I'm gonna be with Keefy at Retro Cars at the 'Pod so we'll catch up if you're there! Welcome to the board Larry. A name from my old VZi days if I'm not mistaken? Yup! That'll be me! Hi dude! Not seen you around for a while either! Maybe I should step out of the garage and into the real world to see what's going on at least once in a while! Lol! I was just the other day contemplating putting one of my NOS Raving Mad stickers on my Zwitter, but thought....nah, they're too nice to use! ;D

dp, the wiring is only like that cos none of us can a)remember when the fuse box mounts or b)see a logical place for it to go. Dude.. I remembered last night when consuming copious amounts of beer.. There is a black metal or plastic frame which mounts to the inner quarter panel and wheel arch. The fuse box clips into it. Its gotta be lying around somewhere... either at Bill's in his garage or propping something open in the engine bay most likely...

Hi Larry, I remember the curse word with your oval fairly well mate, I was the East midlands flyer team , not word at all on it then?, yeah I've seen your car on RestoWagen, I lurk, but don't post, same as I do on VZi now... I'm in the East Mids now, don't spend a lot of time down south at all... you live near my Aunt you know, she's right at the traffic lights and the 1st house before the social club . We'll catch up at CaRS mate ;D

Fcuk knows where it is though. My guess is at Bills. Guess what i did find though .... those little bolts for the indicator stalk. Typical. shifter is now pretty good, a locating bush had come out and just needed to be pushed back in. Reconnected the speedo cable, sorted a fire extinguisher. Just gotta fix in the gauges again and then wait till tash gets back to go over the last few bits.

Its gotta be lying around somewhere... either at Bill's in his garage or propping something open in the engine bay most likely... I have a little pile (growing as i tidy the workshop) of 411 bits. That is one of them. I also have your carpet to cover the engine hatch and various other odds and sods (have you got enough wheelbolts?). I'm sure we could finish it on route...Give T a screwdriver, it'll help pass the time.

I do need some wheelbolts, ive got enough but there are a few that are shorter than the rest which I'm not really happy with. lmao about the screwdriver - i told her the other day she was going in the midget with you so i didnt have to deal with her map reading! ;D
