I hate it when there's too many words and not enough pics...
I took the week off work to MOT and prepare for sale the 68 Corvette that my father built. It's a four speed small block car with a new Holley carb and some engine work. It goes like the clappers, mostly because my father removed everything heavy or ugly and replaced it with nothing or with a much lighter version. Scary to drive though with very low gearing, flabby tyres, a few hundred horses and suspension borrowed from agricultural equipment (see bottom pic for single rear leaf spring).
Two MOTs this week at different places, both of which found different problems. It's off to the friendlier place tomorrow for £400 worth of minor repairs, then onto Ebay where it will probably attract loads of annoying questions and tyre kickers. Anyway, pictures:
