Absolutely beautiful. I'm going to try much harder picking this week's lottery numbers.

That is absolutely beautiful. I would take that over ANY modern supercar. It saddens me a little that modern car designers can manage to style cars to look cool or aggressive and they can manage sleek but rarely do they do them beautiful or elegant these days. Few seem to care for cars that are pretty any more and the roads are a poorer place for it.

A beautiful car totally spoilt by shonky looking undressed welds and patching on the chassis.

Yeh maybe, but I just find it strange that on a car like that the welding is just so untidy - doesn't make sense to me.

Isn't that just how these things were made? A little rough around the the edges/under the skin, but achingly beautiful on the surface.
The Chassis does look 'used', but then you never know what history is behind it...

That is true, I remember looking at a De Tomaso Pantera once - the factory welding was 'agricultural' to say the least! Still spoils an otherwise great car for me though - but then perhaps I'm just hard to please.

Exactly, I dare say alot of rare, exotic and 'super' cars are the sameway. Remember the regurgitated stories of F40s with bare CF weave, paint you can see though and what looked like bathroom sealant bonding the whole lot together. I bet that filled the 1st owners with confidence.... Still gorgeous though

Indeed it is. I'm enjoying supercar week Me too - the only problem is that it's making me have vast amounts of want for something very fast and very silly, right at the time when I can't even afford petrol for my current car.
