There's going to be quite a few cars rolling these before the year's out methinks. Very nice indeed!

Look! A newly tooled wheel based on an old retro design in good looking sizes and offsets! Whodathunkit?!

It's a shame they are coming onto the market with a 'fake' label that they'll never shake off because as a design they're stunning...a nice small centre/tall rim combo that makes any style look cool. I'd love a set - without the judgements that will no doubt be applied.

To be honest a lot of people aren't aware of the heritage that surrounds a lot of these designs, they're just referred to as old school or retro, with little care of manufacturer... You only have to look at the VW and Ford scene to see that price really is the deciding factor here, even when the origins are clearly known

I'm torn on the issue or repro wheels. On the one hand it's great that there's some really sweet looking rims coming onto the market that'll suit old skool rides, and at a reasonably price but on the other hand, part of what makes rare rims so special is just that... them being rare! I don't think the 'fake' label would really put me off buying a set or wheels but the chances of rolling into RRG'11 and there being another car with exactly the same pink Sakuras as me would definately put me off. Fortunately, there's still plenty of rare wheels that are unlikely to ever be widely available to keep me happy.

Fake wouldn't bother me at all, I think they look nice, like a lovely pink wrought iron garden gate.

They're superb. Comapred to the Axis abominations that were a similar re-hash as the new slotmags Shame they won't fit on a mk3 Polo lol.

Rota made a Street Fin replica too, called Shakotan I think I like! And honestly, if you were after a good looking wheel, but werent too spoilt for cash, would you -really- buy some Mega Wheels or whatever curse word instead of Rotas, just because they are reps?

I'm all for these, bring them on. Repo's or not, at least they look right (unlike recent 'slot' damp squibs)

I think repro wheels are a great idea. The originals are thin on the ground and out of reach to most people. Not to mention the fact a nice set of originals are more at home on a weekend toy or a showcar. Where they arnt going to be so easily damaged. A set of rota versions can be used day in day out without (too much) fear of damaging them because you know another wheel is just a phonecall away. Not a flight to japan... ;D Now... reakon i could squeeze 13's on the carlton haha

Gets my vote! A pretty good rep oft favourite wheel on the planet! My only issues (me being picky lol) is the pink is a bit..... Well pink! I'd prefer them a bit darker like the real ones and not Barbie pinkish as shown! Only a quick paint job away tho lol. Also some 14s in a 4x114.3 are crying out to be made too!!! ;-)
