I've just been re-listening to the test drive tapes that Fast Lane magazine did years ago, which included amongst others, the F40 and 959. Must transfer them to Mp3 when I get a chance.

I wonder who will foot the bill for both cars repairs? I know the BBC will be insured......that is going to cost though. you actually believe they broke them?!

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

i didnt believe they broke them. i think they played that charade so... a, they didnt embarrass they're modern equivalents by being faster. or b, they didnt embarrass themselves by being absolutely rubbish round the track. i was looking forward to seeing what times they'd do. i was a little dissapointed. id go for the F40 over the porsche, which has always looked ungainly to me. the ferrari looked bob on through the corners, the pork did not.

have the jag xj220 and maclaren f1 roadtest autocars) (never sell them) I've got four copies of the Autocar F1 roadtest issue; I hoovered up the ones in my local newsagents at the time. [/Amazo the speculator] Trig, I'm of half a mind to dig in my mag boxes, fire up my scanner and coffee maker and give you a run for your money. ;D
