Gotta admit when I saw the porsche I thought oh god here we go again.. But then I saw I a little clearer and realised its one of my favorites. I even have a model one somewhere ;D Then to see it pitted against IMHO the last great ferrari.. Cool episode.... Think I like em best in white...

959 looked like a boat the suspension was well soft, warning lights on the dash - can't have been one of the best examples. Personally I would have the F40 any day

What a shame I no longer watch it. Indeed. People keep complaining its not as good as it was/its all staged anyway andonandonandon, yet here was an honest 7-10 (?) minute piece on two awesome supercars that are perhaps not on the radar of many Top Gear viewers. I think it was Clarkson that said he wished more of the current supercars took the genetics of the F40, without all the comforts and fripperies they now have. R-Wagen, white 959, yes! White F40 No, no, no, no, no!

I love the F-40! Nice pics! Wish Top Gear was this 'classy' and interesting and not as generic and predictable as it has become/always has been (moan, moan).

Can I politely request that this thread doesn't become YET ANOTHER slagging-off-Top-Gear thread. It's been done to death, some people like the show, some don't, let's not go on about it again, eh? ;D Seth/R-Wagen - how does yellow grab you...?

haha . Yellows a good half way point.
I like white for some reason... No idea why... Red . Although the ferrari colour just screams look at me. I think the subtlty of white just makes me appriciate the car more. rather than "OH LOOK A FERRARI" ;D

It's been done to death, some people like the show, some don't, let's not go on about it again, eh? ;D you won't get an arguement from me - 'it's so wack it ain't worth dissing', as Ice Cube would say. Let's have an F40 LM. Drool, slobber. And a 961. New drawers, please.

F40 please - at least I know that I fit. Quite comfortable, really. The clutch is a bit heavy, but I'm sure I'd cope. ;D
The only problem is that I'm about £300,000 short at the moment.

Two of my boyhood dream cars, but I always favoured the F40. It's got to be red for the Ferrari, and silver for the 959. I frequently forget to watch TG. Looks like a good episode, I'll try to catch a repeat.

I wonder who will foot the bill for both cars repairs? I know the BBC will be insured......that is going to cost though.
