Also as a side note (emergency measure) 1980 and 1990s Ford wheel nuts/threads will fit 1980's Toyota (although Ford Wheels a PCD 4X108 !!!) threads/nuts ...ALTHOUGH I recomend you make sure nut is a correct fit for wheel That's handy to know. I am considering fitting Datsun alloys onto the Starlet, but they use a shank-type nut with washer and thread pitch is different to Toyota. Are there any Toyotas/Fords with a similar arrangement? Alternative is to swap Datsun studs onto the Starlet, any reason why this shouldn't work?

Warning! ... Although some Volkswagen are PCD of 4x100 the offset is around 28mm so would be totally WRONG! Most FWD 4-stud VW is 4x100 37-38mm ET. Can't remember the centrebore though (about 1mm smaller than Vauxhall?)

filmidget Centre bore of VW is 57mm so I suppose you could fit VW wheels onto Toyota but may not work other way around due to 'hub'. Yes Golf are around 37mm but I remember we had a problem with an early 1980's Passet/santana wheel swap; so hence my concern when VW wheels were suggested for Reanimations Toyota.
Spotted Laurel Do you mean the 'Sleeve nut' (like used on Revolution wheels)?

Thanks for the facticals.
Forgot about the centrebore, not sure about Nuts, my Sapph originals have a wide spinning washer, but i'm sorting some at the mo for the Sapph through Speedshack.co.uk they know their nuts!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Do you mean the 'Sleeve nut' (like used on Revolution wheels)? That kind of thing. Since then I've rung Speedshack who were very helpful, he's given me a few measurements to check out as it seems there are a variety of hole diameters (one a very odd 41/64"), but whatever I've got he can sort for £1.95 a nut.

that 1.95 adds up over 16 nuts, plus post but they are very helpful.

Me? Totally flummaxed now. for now stick with what ive got i think. i'd imagine the centre bore holds a lot of the weight and strain of the wheel so i'll see if owt corolla related etc turns up on ebay.
