I'm having a wheel dilemma with my W126, it's currently on 15" 8-hole original MB alloys. I'd like a set of 16" AMG Pentas or deep dish BBS wheels, but they seem to go for silly money. My other thought would be a set of 18" AMG slabby wheels (forget the name!), but thought the ride might to be affected a bit much with 18s on. Show me some pics and inspire me! Oh, and since the bottom pic, it's been lowered 40mm (well, the back has, I'm halfway through doing the front! lol) My car - before it got FAR rustier than it looks here

Me too - there's a nice set of genuine 16" AMG pentas on the bay for £800 with no tyres at the minute, hence me inability to afford them lol

Cheers for the link Chris - I'll keep an eye on that one Not sure about a lot of the modern Merc wheels - are yours fitted with or without spacers? What's the offset and width of them - they look like they sit quite well there!? Cheers, Martin

They're ET38 whereas the car is ET25. I'm running 20mm spacers on the back and 15mm on the front. Though I may go for 30mm on the back and use the 20mm jobbies on the front. Should balance things out once it's on the floor.
As for the rims themselves, they're Mercedes 'Ankaa' rims from an E Class. They come in at 17 x 8.5.
