Hi guys, i`ve got the above car available for spares or repairs, it`s a 1988 car on an `e`reg, theres NO t & t and has been stood parked up for a good 4 or 5 years now, it belongs to my wife who i`m pretty sure has owned it for the last 10 or 11 years now. It`s a stock car with the exception of a set of 5 TSW Stealth five spoke 15" alloys, it used to be fitted with a K&N induction kit but thats gone & I can`t find the stock air box but other than that its all complete including the stock body kit (rear arches are missing from the pics due to some scroats trying to nick them but they are in the boot)
The battery died ages ago but with a decent battery fitted or heavy duty boost starter it does still run, from memory its done around 130,000 miles. The interiors not too bad and fairly clean with just some wear to the drivers bolster.
The main issue is the bodywork, at the very least it would need the drivers side wing replacing, both sill skins and some repairs to the drivers side rear quarter/arch, the rear hatch has always been a different shade to the rest of the car and it has had some paint done to the front end too. I`ve not crawled around underneath so there could well be more work required + i`d expect bushes/shocks/brakes/tyres to need a good looking at so i`d be inclined to say it`d be better used for parts if i`m being honest.
It was parked at an elderly relatives house but i`ve fairly recently had to move it and it`s now in the way, I was going to just fill it with curse word and weigh it in for scrap but thought i`d see if there was any interest with the folks on here 1st.
Pics are a year or two old so expect the rust scabs to be bigger and lots more green algae !
I`ve some better pics somewhere but will need to put the desktop back together to dig em out !
The cars located in Long Eaton which is on the Notts/Derbys border (close to junction 25 of the M1) and would require collecting with a suitable trailer/A-frame etc and due to work commitments would have to done on a Sat or Sun.
I`m gonna give it a week or maybe two on here and if it`s still not gone i`ll revert back to my original plan of weighing it in !
