Model: Rover Maestro 1.3 clubman.
Year: 1994
Mileage: 60k
Tax: 3 months
MOT: 1 month
Location: Stoke on Trent
Price: £275
Additional Information:
I recently took this gem in part exchange and had planned to turn it into a little mini project, however i'm finally realising that I will never get the time and the money to do it properly and need to focus on the retros I already have.
Anyway, onto the car,
Its a 1994 L reg Maestro clubman in British racing green. Its in pretty good shape apart from a bit of rust on all the doors, a bit on the N/S/R arch (very little rust, but may be an MOT issue as its near a seatbelt mount) and the odd dent, such as the one on the rear bumper. When I received the Maestro it had taken a whack in the O/S/R door which I have now replaced with a straight one in the wrong colour, and is rusty. I'm not sure if its an improvement TBH! I was planning in searching for one in the right colour and fitting that. Atleast the manky white one opens and closes OK! Apart from those points, shes in good shape! The underside, wings, floors e.t.c and sills are all mint!
Mechanically it starts on the button and drives great, the rear half of the exhaust is pretty new too.
With a bit of TLC this will be a great car. For an MOT it may need the N/S/R arch repairing, but that depends on the tester. Apart from that I can't really see anything else that would be needed.
Collection from Stoke on Trent. Swaps considered, but I really need the space and the money!
