Would love to finish it, but me mate seems to have taken over my garage with his mini, and I now appear to have this truely amazing, but bloody scary 'thing' going on with a rather attractive young lady, so the previously inexhaustable quantities of garage time appear to be dimishing somewhat!
In the meantime, a motorway cruiser with nuff tax 'n test is required... Of course, like most of us on here the way we are, it has to be something interesting, unusual, or have great potential...

More piccies of the Galant     Not sure what to do, space is still an issue, so I'm calling the council today to rent a garage. Repairing the sill might be a bit of a mission also. That and I borrowed £100 off my dad to do some repairs on the Golf last week (to avoid going into my overdraft) so spending money on a car might be a bit rude! *head spins* |

Driving to Brum to look at this, this afternoon:  cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2486070435We've agreed a price for him to remove it from eBay, and if it is as good as he says I will sellotape a new headlight/indicator in and drive it home this evening. Makes sense really. I have some major work to do on mine, which if the hydros/gas are removed, it won't need, and can then be sold on for good money. All the best/new bits can come off mine, and the new one can be appropriately strengthened before fitting of hydros etc. It's the right colour. The right age. It has the right engine (4.2 v8) and it has spot-on wheels. Oh, the insurance company will insure both for a month for £22, then swap over to the new one for no extra premium. Nice. Si, Hotwire - do you approve?  |
