DarrenW: That Corvair is definitely peculiar, it's like a the club coupe variant in proportion but has what looks like a 4-door rear screen, wheelbase looks a bit short too. I bet it's a 4 door that's been shortened for some reason. I've noticed the door handles are gone too, there's more to that one than meets the eye at first I reckon, interesting find. Aye... A clearer pic from someone else that was there: Two Seater Corvair by Hugo90, on Flickr

a friend of mine (who is on here but doesn't come past much anymore - username saru) has "the brown car blog" google it and check it out. anyhoot, this is my brown car: some of you may remember it from the "how do I start this thing?" thread. 1 owner from new, just had the carburettors rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, I'm slowly getting there. I just found the original interior tags last night in amongst my grandfather's stuff (ie a plastic tag telling you to drive in "D" and not "2"). www.classicroverforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=8638
