simple rules. Go onto eBay, go to the classic car section. arange by distance. Nearest first. Thats your first car. Now reverse the order and pick the car furthest away. What did you "win" And how would you build it? sadly this is the SECOND closest, but worth a mention The actual closest is this Mini Here...On this one I'd get rid of the stripes. Probably paint the roof red to match the body and get some Cooper like steels with hubcaps or maybe some polished slot mags in a 6x10 Or... some psychadelic multi colour acid trip paint job. mmm. Not really very original either. oh FFS last on the list was this VW Van. Another "predictable" vehicle I've no fresh ideas what you could do with. Slam it as it is, Subaru flat 4 turbo with plenty of power. black steelies. Probably a bit banded with some performance rubber on them. I suspect this will come up as every body's futhest option as its in Cyprus. OK, new rule, furthest away but still in the same country... What do you get?

Nearest I'd drop the rear some more, fill it full of stereo gear, paint it gloss black, limo tints and drive round in 90s drug dealer mode. Although 2nd is this Which i'd fit 15x10 and 15x12 banded steels to with the 5 spoke 70s style strengtheners, lower profile tyres with a big stretch. Daft amounts of camber on the back, full 70s style paint job and the biggest stinger pipe the world has ever seen. Furthest away that hasn't been mentioned is this Which already has a certain drug dealer chic. Needs the lpg kit binning to make room for the subs though. Matt

I could live with this... bit quick for my taste though. 1991 Vauxhall Astra GTE Some period alloys and a pearlescent irridescent lacquer or TVR colour, excessive amount of smoothing on the body and job's done I reckon. Nothing too fibreglassy or overblown. I'm going to ignore the furthest away, a lilac 1970 Fiat 500 because this is only two spots up from it. 1946 Jaguar MkIV It would be a bomb in metallic black with a red metalflake side beneath the chrome and between the wings, oxblood interior and all the chromed things it should have. Exterior visor, spats, good rumbly exhaust and tune up of the 3.5 litre engine. Wire wheels replaced with smooth Rolls Royce covers painted in metalflake red to match the side. With a B.I.N. of ÂŁ23.5k, it's unlikely to ever happen though isn't it?

closest was a red and white Rover mini cooper (no need for a pic we all know what they look like!) I'd add a sportspack to it and that'd be it.... furthest was this (Leverburgh, 520 miles away but furthest in the UK) it would get slammed on some wide banded steelies, sprayed a decent colour and tuned and supercharged

Nearest at 25 miles is this 1951 Bentley unfinished project for ÂŁ8.5k. I have no idea what I would do with it. Furtherest away (within UK) at 405 miles seems to be this 1977 Chevette project for ÂŁ260. This I would sell to carmad and buy myself a nice Alfa.

Nearest to me is a 55 Ford Ranch Wagon ;D And furthest (Finland) is a 1941 NSU Kettenkrad with "trailer" I'd slam the ford and sort something loud of many cubic inches, leave the rest as is - and the bike just needs some goggles! edit - and guns

Nearest to me (less than 5 miles) could definetly live with that! ;D And furthest away that no one else has claimed yet (5th furthest car from me) I seem to be be doing the best so far. IMHO
