Man, that brings back memories. I had one identical when I was a kid. It got stolen from mum and dad's shed a few years back though. Nice work fella.

I had a boxer XL I was planning on fitting a minimoto engine, forks and wheels into. I bought a brand new mini dirt bike from ebay, for £50 I think, delivered. I tried the Boxer frame against it. looked like it would fit. but dirt bike was chinese rubbish. got some new parts and it still didnt work too well. I left it in my back yard, as it was leaking petrol again. didnt want to stink out the shed. some one came into my yard and stole it. Good. :/

wow! exactly like i had. i had a steel plate motorcycle type numberplate bolted to the cross bar and a water bottle. i could wheelie it 100yds and jumped over 6 oil drums off a plank/bricks aged 8 . my stem was bent over 90 degrees at the end up. evel knievel really was a massive influence pre bmx.

Love it - that colour is spot on to the original. I guess this is like a mini, gearless Grifter.
You must be of a similar vintage to me. With most of the kids that I used to play out with riding Boxers, Strikers or Budgies (great for wheelies). One friend also had a Raleigh of the same size which had fake front suspension forks - but I can't remember the name. It was green and black.
