your lack of details doesnt help much mate. you wanting front and back or all separate?
controls could consists of an on/off switch to a compressor and manual release ball valves, to topend full computer controlled system, all depends what you are looking for.

I'd give max hydraulics or Rayvern a bell, they'll both have what you need.
Rayvern do some 8mm combined lift and dump valves which are very good. I've got them on mine. Or go for 12mm valves and lines for faster moves, depends how big the ports are on your bags (you could always drill them out bigger of course )
Ray also does some Thompson comps which are ment to be good and good value (if a bit ugly IMO)
As has been said, depends on budget and what you want from the system.

thanks for the quick replies. I want to raise and lower the front and rear separately only and then park and deflate completely.I am looking for a fairly silent compressor and that is it. As cheaply as possible.

I've got a pair of viair comps and they're fairly quiet but coat about a grand each, think the Thompson ones and about £200ish, the combined lifts and dumps from ray are around £100 each. Get on uklowriders.co.uk or trurydaz.co.uk (I think) They'll tell you owt you need

be warned about rayvern. the rayvern stuff i had was truly, utterly, horrible. the cheap lines would not seal up no matter how many times the pipes and collets were replaced. i bought good quality stuff from a hydraulics supplier in the end not the rubbish they come with. the whole system was fitted terribly with poorly hacked/drilled holes for the lines with bits of fuel line over them to stop them getting rubbed by the jagged edges of the holes. i found this out cos it used to curse word water in under the carpets and trough the bulkhead from these holes. not exactly expert install. the switches were curse word and the 'gauges' were basically footpump gauges glued to a bit of stainless plate! the wiring was a lash up, always stopping working as it was all scotched and crimped together, half of it melted in the end. even the way the tank, pump, valves etc. were held down to the boot floor was a bodge. the bags, pump and tank were good quality (all firestone) even though the 'airbags' were actually air helper springs for american pickups, not proper 'airbags'. but it was all fitted terribly in an inappropriate way. the rear bags started to tear as they were fitted so they concertina-d in use and there was no lift limiters to stop them being overstretched. the fronts were strut-bags, about the only bit of the system with any thought put into it, except they were obviously built off the car without trying them, as they were welded on too high up so they rubbed the body and on full drop the shock still had over 1" of travel, that could have been used as drop. this was a very well known car as well. i know rayvern 100% definately fitted the system, it was a mag feature car and is on their website too. i gave up on the whole thing in the end and removed the entire system. ended up flogging it rather than using it as i could have come up with something better myself for half what it was worth. saying that, it was better than the even bigger lash up he'd made of the hydros on my pontiac when he did those, it took me three months to re-install that lot.......... ive never seen rayvern turn out anything that goes above mediocre in terms of engineering and presentation. some of it is downright dangerous. i certainly wouldnt recommend them to anyone, most competent DIY mechanics could do a better job, as long as you can weld. ive youre just gunna use them to supply parts, don't bother, the stuff they sell is cheap curse word sold for top dollar cos they have no real competition, youd get better quality stuff at a lower price buying direct from the states. sorry if this offends anyone who has a rayvern built car, but this is my own experiences of owning two rayvern bagged/juiced cars both bought on the fact they were done by them, and being serverly dissapointed in the quality of them. I'm all up for being proved wrong, but I'm yet to see it. anyway, have a bagged car-

Good point well put Dez!!! I paid faaaaar tooooo much money for the Air system to be fitted to my Riviera by an extremely well known and often hyped up Hot Rod and Custom Fabrication shop in Kent, since parting with a huge amount of cash for this to be fitted I have experienced a blown bag because of no limiters, a burnt out pump because of terrible wiring, a near fire again because of the wireing, endless leaks, a system that doesnt pick the front up evenly.... you get the picture!! Me and a few of my mates are working our way through it and gradualy ironing it all out, but my advice would be buy the best parts available, get good advice from knowlegable people and definately have a go yourself!!! Oh, Heres said Riviera!!

I've been looking into airing my car for a couple of years now and I'm still going nowhere. No one seems to know what I would need...
Good luck with your want to run air 24v. TBH, its the one part of customisation that is still full of misinformation and shoddy quality.

Tbh I've never had anything fitted by Rayvern, and know he doesn't know 'air' that well, he tried to tell me that bigger lines and valves ect won't give you faster moves lol. The only Rayvern supplied parts I've got are the valves, and to be honest I'm fairly impressed by them, supposed to be rated to 250psi but I've run them up to 450psi and blew a line, valves were fine, they are rebuildable and fairly leak free, I've only got 1 leak at the mo and that's because I forgot to joint seal two bits only reason I want to replace them is to run 12mm lines. He did once try and sell me some thompson comps tho, saying the viair ones were rubbish and would need rebuilding about once every two months, I've been running mine for over a year now with no problems. Lol. I have spoken to the guy at max hydraulics tho, can't remember his name, he has that candy red mk3 'tina, he seems on the ball and seems to know his stuff.

Thanks everyone. I am going to keep it as simple as possible with 2 mechanical raise lower valves and a pressure regulator after each one.I am going to try and use as many hgv parts as possible as they are all running air brakes and air bags now.Fitting the bags in the correct position is next..

Out of curiosity, on a 2 valve system, is there any measures to stop the air from one bag moving over to the other one that valve's connected to? I'm guessing there must be, otherwise surely the car would body roll really badly.

Thats a good question. If both bags were the same pressure and the shocks were still installed would they counter act the roll? Otherwise a stronger anti roll bar?

Just got a compressor from a v8 lincon towncar that is parked up the road from. Lovely clean car good engine but auto box in trouble. So I have 4 airbags 1 tank (60L) 2 raise/lower valves 1 compressor.Next are some quick fit air fittings. What is the best diameter ?I was thinking of 10mm.Is that everything?
