Went into Halfords earlier to get a new battery for my bike, not the cheapest place but has the best laughable no quibble returns policy. Anyway no battery in stock but while the guy was looking I had a rummage through the reduced items bin and hello what's this? Two crusty old boxes containing recoiling seatbelts with FORD ANGLIA specified on the back. £5 each!!! Result!!!
But there's more, further down a tin of stone chip paint reduced £2 because there is a dent in the side. So I take it one uses a schutz gun to spray on stonechip because the tin is the same size?

i got a complete set of spax dampers for a mini from halfrauds - £20 a pair instead of £80, mini front dampers fit the back of the ktiten, and i flogged the others for £60. nice.
also got a hope DH4 disc brake and caliper for my mountain bike from there, reduced from about £100 too £20. wtf, how do they make a profit!!

I've had bargains from there before - I got a K&N Filter for a fiver. However, if you want any technical expertise, you'd be better off popping into TK Maxx next door. I try to avoid the place, but sometimes their bargain buckets are worth a rummage.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Price match is fine but I haven't the time to be messing about. They'll only price match for stuff of the same prand and model number as well, and not with online sellers, and certainly not with eBay prices! I'll just go to Partco/eBay for most of my stuff. But Halfords is open late and pretty convenient. And the bargain aisle is full of goodies usually.
