TBH, I'm a little weary of the kind of crowd that's likely to attract, if only because of the name of the show. I can see chavs and cruisers filling the place. Hope I'm wrong though.

Thanks for the vote of confidence mate. I went to a few rounds of BDC last year and even portugal as well as some DWYB's and all are great fun with good people. You cant let the name of a show put you off. don't forget the more people that don't go because of the 'chavs' then the more 'chav' to 'normal people' ratio their will be

I hope to attend some BDC events this year too. Where I work we sponsor Team Falken and the MPH V8 Rex for wheel geometry so we see them fairly reguarly over the spring/summer. I've really gotten into it all in the past 6 months.

I've really gotten into it all in the past 6 months. Team Falkon/Green are a good bunch. met alot of them in Portugal. One of the few teams with 'home grown' cars as such now, which appeals to me Go to some rounds of BDC you will love it! (make sure you know how it works beforehand otherwise doesnt make sense lol, thats the mistake i made when i first started watching competitions)

I'll be there Friday to Sunday/Monday depending how badly i crash the car haha I think any show like this might attract a few wronguns but there will be enough of us drifters to put them straight it should be a good, chilled out (apart from the raving) weekend of skidding and biking!

If any chavs do turn up and try to compete, they will likely get awfully confused when there are no McDonalds trays to put under their back tyres.
