1996 BMW 316SE Manual £750 Hey guys, I have three cars that I am putting up for sale. My e28, this e36 and my supra turbo. Someone please buy this and the supra so I can keep the e28! Whichever two go first will leave the third to go on to become a drifting tool. The first of the trio is this 316 SE. It's manual. So with some MIG action could become a beginners drift vehicle, or just a cheap daily hack. Important bits- 156,500 miles Tax - 06/11 MOT - 01/12 Green indicator on service schedule wotsit It's in genuinely great nick. Front electric windows, leccy mirrors, cd player and 6cd changer. Everything works exactly as it should when it should. Rear springs and subframe bushes are in good nick. It's got some gay 330 wheels on it with good rubber. But meh. Oh and it's also got a load of BMW service history and all the relevant folders. Any questions drop me a pm.       Drop me a pm with any questions. |

I commute through heavy traffic and it still manages over 30mpg day in day out. On sensible motorway cruising it does over 40mpg. Tbh it's the most economical daily i've ever had and i'm an absolute moron for getting rid, but i love my e28 too much to get rid of that.

Damn, that's a bit worse than I was expecting and not much better than my Xsara. But some Googling revels it's a 1.9 (is that right?), whereas I assumed it'd be a 1.6 as per older 316s. Doh
Sorry mate, that probably counts me out. I'll get in contact if I have a sudden change of heart though.

no this car has a 1.6 engine.
it was only the newer e46's that has the 1.8/1.9 engines in the 316 models.

Ah ok, my bad. Well that makes it a bit more attractive as at least I'd be downsizing on the engine size.
Still can't do anything until I shift the Xsara, so I'll give you a shout Tig if I manage to sort something out.
