Starts/runs well enough and ace on fuel.
227,000 miles and looks it. Obviously it's far from showroom condition but if you want a cheap, reliable and very economical motor you'll struggle to beat this. I believe it has a Bosch pump so should be veg oil friendly too, and you can tweak the boost on these if you're that way inclined.
Razz it round, break it for spares or for some right giggles put the engine into a Corsa.
Last MOT it only failed on three bulbs and had advisories for slight play in anti-roll link, an oil leak (which I suspect is the rocker cover gasket), front bumper damaged (now been self tappered on!) and 'rear brake pipes covered in grease'.
I honestly doubt it will want much for the next MOT but no guarantees to this effect.
Obviously it's a bit rough but I honestly believe it will break and weigh in for more than this so you can't really lose out.

It's in Chester, Cheshire very near to M53/M56/A41/A55/A56 etc and within easy reach of the M6 North and South.
If you get here before Tuesday it'll still be taxed!
