That is very pretty indeed, Welcome! Maybe some skinnier tyres and more lows?

Very nice indeedy. White really suits a MK4 and I'm liking the wheel tyre combo you have there, any rubbing probs with those?

roundozo: Thanks for the answer. Sounds great but shipping a set of wheels to Germany won't be cheap I guess. I really love your wheels though. What's the tyresize on yours?

To be honest it does sometimes rub. Love the wheels though so I’m thinking of ways around keeping the tyres but stopping the rub. Stiffer suspension is one idea but that might shake the car apart. Was thinking about extending the wheel arches but with a four door it’s quite hard as the rear doors close pretty much on the arch and I don’t really want to play with the panels that much as they're in such good nic. Any ideas?

BTW: What's that thing with your hood? Is it just not correctly fitted?

It’s fitted correctly, but the hinges have been moved forward to lift the back of the bonnet. This is so that the twin Webbers (45’s) have enough room to breathe (bonnet would be sitting on them and the air filter otherwise) and to be honest it also helps cool the 2.8 V6. I didn’t want to cut the bonnet at all as again its original and in such good condition, I can’t stand modifying perfectly good panels. I don’t have any problems with water getting in and she always starts on the cold days. I kind of like the look too to be fair, slightly aggressive.

Oh, I used to do this on my Mini back in the days. Maybe you can cut yourself a piece of metal, drill some holes in it and open it up a little more. Could look much better and it's without cutting panels.
