Hi everyone I am after an Austin badge that looks like the one below as my Allegro is missing one , I've been looking in my local scrappy quite a bit but to no avail, I believe that they come on either series 3 Allegro's or very early Metro's both of which are pretty rare nowadays So if anyone has such a badge lying around that they would be willing to donate to project Green Meanie in return for a beer of course or could keep there eyes open in there local scrappy for one I would be most grateful. Ps I suppose I could just go for the debadged look but I have never been a big fan of it.

I will probably bid on that one anyway, cheers for the link. In a way that one is better as it actually says Austin.

Heya, Ive got one just like that you can have for free if you want, its off a '82 Metro but it's exactly the same, bit grubby but good condition. If you still want it let me know your adress, was gonna chuck it out but would be happy to see it used Cheers, Jon (First Post)

Thanks for the warm welcome! Some very cool cars on this forum, great to see people activally promoting them instead chucking them away like most people seem to be doing jammzr thanks for the PM, your badge will be sent tonight so hopefully it should be gracing the front of your car next week. Erm, I drive a 1983 VW Polo, nothing special but its cheep to run and I quite like it. It needs a respray desperatly (after I learnt how to do patchwork repairs on it) but it ocassionally raises a kind comment from other VW drivers. Also used to have this 1983 Polo Coupe, which sadly died when it was hit by a royal mail van. Managed to use the parts from it to save my other car so all was not lost. And I have an old school kawasaki KH 100 Motorbike, which is in need of an engine transplant. Would one day love a slammed VW derby or aircooled VW - when funds allow ;D Cheers, Jon
